What is a GPO?

GPO stands for Group Purchasing Organization, and they work by leveraging the purchasing power of a group of independent consumers to get premium contracted pricing that would only be available to much larger consumers. In dentistry, this has commonly been referred to as getting “DSO pricing for Independent Dental Offices.”

Who has Molis Advantage partnered with?

While Molis Advantage is a new GPO, we have partnered with IndepenDENT Dental
Solutions (IDS) to get access to their existing contract pricing for what we consider to be
“core” items, including everyday dental consumables. In addition to the contracts from IndepenDENT, Molis Advantage is pursuing additional contracts for products & services aligned to the Molis Coaching curriculum. Also, Molis Advantage has partnered with an industry leader, Clixon procurement software to make it as easy as possible to maximize savings from day 1.

I am not familiar with Clixon or procurement software, how does it work?

Procurement software is the ideal way to streamline your savings and Clixon is a proven industry leader. Clixon integrates all the moving parts involved in supply purchasing and inventory management into one easy-to-use platform. It puts direct access to a custom catalog, all your vendors, and every step of the ordering process at your fingertips, giving your team more time to focus on patient care and growing your business. Plus, with detailed reports and analytics keeping you on top of your inventory, buying habits, production, and budget, it facilitates well-informed decisions that can save your business time and money.

I have multiple locations, do I need to pay for each location or just one monthly fee?

If you have multiple locations, you will need to enroll each location individually, however after you enroll your first location, you can add locations for just $60/month per location.

How much can I expect to save?

Studies have shown that the average independent practice will save 10 – 20% on
dental supplies alone annually. If the average practice spends $50,000 on supplies, this equates to $5,000 – $10,000 annually.

To ensure you understand how specifically you can save, we partner with IndepenDENT on a Savings Statement, which compares your most frequently purchased products. We want to be as transparent as possible about how this will
benefit your practice!

What other perks are included and planned for Molis Advantage beyond contract pricing on dental supplies and procurement software?

This is where being a part of Molis Advantage can be a huge win for a dental practice! First, we are actively working with key equipment and technology manufacturers to bring exclusive offers to Molis Advantage customers so that your practice can always have the latest dental technology designed to optimize patient care and practice efficiency. Second, you have a voice in what contracts we seek. If you see or use a product or service you would like to be included, all you have to do is let us know and we will get to work on negotiating a contract leveraging the collective purchasing power of all members!

FAQs - Enrollment Process

How does the process of enrollment work?

The process is a simple 3 step process. First, you complete your registration on molisadvantage.com. This step triggers all the other steps of the process and also provides the billing details for your monthly enrollment.

After you complete Step 1, you will be sent a confirmation email from Molis Advantage with a link to enroll in the contract pricing. This part of the process is hosted by our partner IDS and can be found at independent-ds.com/molis-join/. This step also includes being redirected to a DocuSign page to sign the Member Service Agreements for Molis Advantage and IDS.

Once enrollment is complete, IDS will work with contract partners (like Henry Schein) to get contract pricing loaded on to your accounts. This process can take up to 7 days and they will contact you when it is complete with a full welcome packet so you can start enjoying all your savings.

Lastly, you will be contacted by Clixon procurement software so you can get set up on their great platform and enhance your savings experience even more.

Why do I need to complete the DocuSign Member Service Agreements?

The MSA is required for GPOs and enables us to utilize the buying power of the group to negotiate lower pricing and other benefits on behalf of our members

I have multiple locations; do I need to complete enrollments or just one?

A single form and DocuSign will support multiple locations. When you start entering your “Office Address”, you will see the option to add additional locations. You can add as many locations as you have.

FAQs - Maximizing Savings after Enrollment

What if I do not have a relationship with a participating vendor and would like to utilize their contract?

As part of the onboarding process, Molis Advantage (and IDS where applicable) will directly contact a vendor on your behalf to set up a warm welcome. We want to make this as easy for you as possible!

Our practice does not currently use Henry Schein as a distributor and may not have an account set up with them. How does that get handled?

While over 95% of dental practices do have an account with Henry Schein, the information you provided during enrollment will give us what is required for them to create a new account for you. When we follow up with our welcome packet we will share all information on how to best work with Henry Schein to enjoy their contract pricing. Your pricing will also be available through Clixon once that is set up.

Can we work with sales reps from Henry Schein and other companies that have contracts?

Yes, Molis Advantage is designed to work the way you prefer to operate in your practice. If you like to work directly, with a sales person and still get contract pricing, you can do that. If you want to order online and not work with a rep, you can do that. If you want to have access to a telesales rep, that is available too.

Can I still take advantage of promotions while on contract pricing with vendors?

Yes, if a manufacturer is offering a buy / get promotion you can get both your contract pricing on each item and the free goods.
